My strategy is to identlfy the cause of the problem and, if possible, to get people to do stretches, exercises or other self-treatments to sort out their own problems. This makes people less dependent of the therapist and should require fewer sessions to sort the problem. Neurology rehabilitation tends to be a longer and more dependant process.
